Providence to Commemorate Genocide at Martyr’s Monument

PROVIDENCE, R.I.—The Armenian Martyr’s Memorial Committee of Rhode Island has organized a gathering on April 25 to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. It will take place at 12:30 p.m. at the Martyr’s Monument at the North Burial Ground in Providence. The 29-ft. monument was erected in 1977 to honor the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
