Yon Nersessian

Yon Nersessian was born in Jerusalem and has roots in Artsakh. He is a co-founder and active member of the Aghmoog Collective in Montreal, Canada, which works to strengthen and safeguard Armenia's border regions through artistic activism, advocacy and awareness-raising beyond Armenian diaspora communities. Nersessian has a background in music composition and anthropology, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in social work with a focus on human rights at Alice Salomon University in Berlin.
