Sofia Kirchen

Originally from Los Angeles and currently living in the Bay Area, Sofia Kirchen is a rising sophomore at the University of California, Berkeley studying International Relations and Middle Eastern Studies with a focus on Peace and Conflict Studies. Given her extensive interest in foreign affairs, defense policy and humanitarian work, Sofia is currently serving as a 2023 ANCA Leo Sarkisian Intern. At UC Berkeley, she is involved with Cal ASA, as well as serving as internal vice president of Cal’s chapter of Delta Phi Epsilon, utilizing several years of political knowledge on various levels of government to invest in causes and issues close to her heart.
