Edvin Minassian

Edvin Minassian was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey and emigrated to the United States at the age of 17. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of California (1987) and a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School (1990). He has been a practicing attorney since his admission to the State Bar of California in 1990 and is also admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States of America. Minassian has been serving as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Organization of Istanbul Armenians since 2010 and is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Armenian Legal Center for Justice & Human Rights. He has served as the two-term Chairman of the Armenian Bar Association from 2010 to 2012 and is an occasional columnist for Agos, Hrant Dink’s newspaper.
