Armenia’s defeated leader is unable to resolve problems from the lost war

There are three reasons why Armenia is in such a state of chaos and confusion:

The first reason is that Armenia, as the defeated side in the war, has very little leverage in the implementation of the “Statement” or agreement signed on Nov. 9, 2020 by the President of Azerbaijan, Prime Minister of Armenia and President of Russia.

  1. how about a truth and reconciliation commission like South africa to get the evil exposed and some compensation to the innocent. Have equal mix Azerbaijan and Armenia

    1. I already wrote a month ago that we need an investigative committee to review what went wrong and who was responsible for Armenia’s defeat. You probably have in mind a truth and reconciliation commission between Armenians and Azeris. I don’t believe this is possible at this time. It is too soon and the nerves are too raw. Let’s first have the return of the Armenian prisoners of war, punish the Azeri soldiers who tortured and killed Armenian prisoners, and punish the Azeris who destroyed Armenian cultural monuments. This will be a good start. We also have to wait and see Azerbaijan’s actions regarding the status of Artsakh and extending the role of the Russian peacekeepers beyond five years. So we are a long ways away from reconciliation. We haven’t seen the slightest signs of sympathy for Armenians from Azerbaijan.

  2. More important then the POW disaster, Armenia needs to rebuild its military immediately. An accurate analysis of this war needs to be made to correct the mistakes. I don’t see that happening. All funds should be spent on modern weapons and technology. I suggest no more diaspora funds unless a diaspora representative is stationed in Armenia, directly orchestrating its dispersion. Yes the PM is incompetent, and possibly a traitor, and needs to be rid. His agreements needs to be shredded and ignored. He is neither politically, militarily nor economically savvy. No one takes him seriously and he has become a real danger to Armenia’s security and future. The unfortunate part is that the next in line is Vasgen Manugyan, who is an old Soviet Levon Ter Petrosian lackey, who isn’t any better. These stale backward Armenian figures cling to Russia as their “savior” , basically another losing proposition. Russia doesn’t want a strong independent Armenia. It likes hegemony. It abandoned its supposed #1 Caucus “ally” while Turkey was orchestrating a drone war. Russia jumped in well after Armenia was severely wounded and is now orchestrating a charade of neutral peace keeping. Russia plans to sow “peace” with more Armenian dependency by creating trade routes that once again will not benefit Armenia in any way.

Armenia’s mistake is that it continues to minimize its massive diaspora, other then fund raising ignoring its full potential.. It must understand the Diaspora is truly a brethren. It can provide massive resources and has only honest intentions, being the best for Armenia.

Armenia’s future leaders need to make clear that Armenia still holds accountable the Turks and Azeri’s for the genocidal acts and also make clear its intention of retaking its historical lands in the future. The diaspora is the creation of that genocide. It cant be ignored anymore. Ignore this useless agreement instead. Build the Army massively to instill justice. Rid Russian hegemony and dependency. A better future will only come from us with UNITY being the only answer. Nothing less..
