  1. She was indeed a very classy and intelligent lady. Both she and her husband Vigen were an inspiration to all of us in the NJ Armenian community. Both of them had the wisdom of Solomon and the determination and strength of presence of Hercules. They left a legacy of service to our heritage with their children. A true loss for all of us. May almighty God have a special place in His mansion for them.

  2. Vigen and Kanare were Mr. and Mrs. Hospitality.
For example, when in 1969, I was sent to Indianapolis by the federal government to take a course of instruction, I contacted the Babayans merely to say hello. Well, Vigen and Kanare invited me to their home for Sunday dinner twice while I was there.

  3. A very distinguished couple who served our people with distinction for decades. I remember as a kid listening to my maternal grandmother , Nevart Harotian, speak about the wonderful Edgarian family in New Britain , Ct. The family has had solid lineage in previous generations and with Kanare’s children. Rest in our Lord’s Kingdom. A job well done. Asdvatz Hokin Louysavoreh.

  4. Our sincere sympathy to Tamar, Berge and family.
Vigen and Kanare’s deep sense of activism and nationalism was passed on to a proud family, creating many years of a legacy of nationalism so deep and meaningful.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all as we pay respect to the matriarch of the proud Babayan family.

  5. Tamar and family,
I was so sorry to learn of your mother’s passing. She lived a vibrant and well lived life. We should all be inspired by her.
    God bless,
    Donna
