Catholicos Karekin II Blasts Baku’s Aggression during Meeting with Azerbaijan’s Religious Leader
MOSCOW (A.W.)—Catholicos of All Armenians His Holiness Karekin II strongly criticized Azerbaijan’s hostility and its leadership’s unwillingness to work toward peace in the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabagh) conflict. He was speaking at a meeting of the religious heads of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia at St. Daniel’s Patriarchal Monastery of Moscow.

to subject citizens, their families, communities to endless and sensel;ess danger needs to be addressed by both countries with respect towards individual rights and justice. failure to do so is a egregious act perpertrated by hostile powers who stand the most . both economically and politically from surpressing and denying the armenians for autonomy in that region. who really are the victims=the armenians. a chritian nation or the turk/azerbajain allience?

Our heroic people of Artsakh will never accept the rule of Turkish Azerbaijan over their ancestral lands which they have struggled and preserved. These are Armenian lands dating back to thousand of years. and the only way Azerbaijan can “liberate” the lands belonging to Armenians is to stage another Genocide of the Armenian population of Artsakh. That will not happen Mr. Pashazedeh….
