  1. I am sorry to have to say this, but long-time Washington, DC-based establishment columnist, author, and TV commentator David Ignatius has always been very pro-Turkish.

And Adi has never been particularly Armenian that I know of. I have heard him speak locally.

Sorry, but I must distrust them both.

Here is one example – one of many – that I have heard David Ignatius say (on radio) years ago regarding the Armenian genocide:

“My grandfather would roll over in his grave if he heard me say this, but at least Turkey is trying to become a better country.”

That’s the best he could do with the Genocide issue?

Here is an example of a title from an Ignatius article just recently in the Dallas News, just so you get an idea of how David Ignatius is always spinning things positively for Turkey:

“David Ignatius: Turkey stands firmly with its Western allies after attack.”

Turkey has long been a supporter of ISIS and other jihadists, Mr. Ignatius, not a country that stands with the West.

Have you not read the following two Columbia University studies available on the Web?

    Research Paper: Turkey-ISIS Oil Trade
    Research Paper: ISIS-Turkey Links

I don’t care what else David Ignatius has said recently that may seem like he has come around to defending Armenians and criticizing Turkey.

I have observed David Ignatius for decades and know precisely how he thinks about Armenian and Turkish issues.
