The Armenian Women’s Welfare Association (AWWA) Gala Committee is hard at work planning the 100th Anniversary Gala to be held at the Boston Public Library at Copley Square on Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. Special guests and masters of ceremony are actor, playwright, and novelist Eric Bogosian, and Middlesex County Sheriff Peter Koutoujian.
Members of the committee are Cynthia Kazanjian, Susan Deranian, Louise Hagopian-Chobanian, Brenda Khederian, Cheri Apelian, Annie Youssoufian,Karen Hovsepian, Cheryl Panjian, Carol Zeytoonjian, JoAnn Janjigian, Melanie Khederian, Nancy Kasarjian, and Karen Diranian.
As AWWA celebrates the last 100 years of service, it looks forward to continuing the mission started by its founding women volunteers. Join AWWA for an elegant evening with an open bar, reception, and entertainment, all in the beautiful setting of the historic Boston Public Library in Copley Square.

I want to congratulate and thank all members of AWWA for their dedication and contribution to this profound institution. I also would like to commend both Mr. Eric Boghosian and our Sheriff Mr. Peter Koutoujian for supporting and joining in these festivities.
