The Last of the Armenian Families Living in Kobane Flee
URFA, Turkey—The last Armenian families living in Kobane fled the northern Syrian town after repeated attacks by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), reported the Turkish Hurriyet Daily News on July 1. One of the family members, Hovsep Tomasyan, was killed in front of his 14-year-old son Aram, according to the report.
Four ISIL members wearing uniforms of the Kurdish People’s Defense Units (YPG) shot Hovsep Tomasyan, 45, on the morning of June 24, according to Aram. “My father was bleeding from his heart when he fell on the ground. Despite this he still raised his hand and said, ‘Son, run, they are ISIL.’ I ran. If I hadn’t run, I would have been shot too,” he explained to reporter İdris Emen.
Emen also spoke to family member Agop Tomasyan in Urfa. Agop fled Kobane for Turkey around nine months ago when ISIL first launched an attack. According to the report, Agop belongs to one of three Armenian families in the Suruç refugee camp. “We understood that it was time for us to go. We decided to come to Turkey after a discussion between the last Armenians left. Eventually we came to Suruç,” Agop was quoted as saying.
According to him, Armenian families currently live at the Turkish Prime Ministry Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) refugee camp in the Suruç district of Şanlıurfa province. “One family settled in Şanlıurfa, another in Hatay, and another in Aleppo. Two of the families who had passports went to Armenia. The remaining three families were placed in refugee camps in Suruç,” said Agop, whose ancestors had fled to Kobane during the Armenian Genocide.
How terrible! There is no end to these horrible acts.
That’s disgusting how Turkey gives these trash people weapons to kill Armenians and other native minorities in the Middle East but tries to look good to the world by housing refugees from the problems they cause. I sick of this.
Any chance of rescuing these families from Turkey and move them to Armenia?

Interestingly, the article is from Reuters which has a different photo, and Newsweek which has another photo and even credits a different author for the same article.
Now what is wrong with that photo? What nation on this planet, especially one that is a member of NATO, would tolerate a flag, only meters away from its own, which is the flag of genocide, mass murder, terrorism, lunacy, savagery, backwardsness, and contrary to all humanity? The answer would be “Turkey”.
So let’s see. We in the USA supposedly “urgently need to defeat ISIS/ISIL” and the taxpayers are spending millions in bombing campaigns, and “outrage” is expressed on a daily basis in the “mainstream” disinformation media, and “we can’t recognize the Armenian Genocide because that would anger our important and close NATO ally Turkey”, and yet ISIS/ISIL is peacefully and happily in co-existence with “our important NATO ally Turkey”??
Yeah right!
You can interpret that picture any way you like.
Here is my interpretation: ISIS/ISIL = Turkey = NATO = Occupied USA.

They make throat-cutting gestures,” said Halil Kocaaslan in the village of Karanfilköy, close to Karkamış. “The presence of Turkish soldiers at the border gives us confidence but we don’t want them to cross into Syria. That would be devastating,” he said.”

Please take a look at the picture of the ISIS parading out in the open in a convoy of trucks. These kinds of parades of military hardware by ISIS are almost an everyday event.

So the US Air Force, the most powerful air force in the world, cannot completely obliterate the entire convoy in one run ?
During the first Iraqi war US Air Force attacked the retreating military hardware of Iraqis and turned them into melted, charred pieces of metal. Everything else that could burn was carbonized.
Miles long convoy of everything – trucks, tanks, APCs – was wiped out. 1000s of Iraqi troops were incinerated.
Really sick how the foreign virus has taken over the brain of US Gov and killing and destroying all over the world in the name of American people.
These families need urgent relief and need to be moved to a safe european place or even karabagh
