Spring Concert to Feature Musicians, Visual Art

WALTHAM, Mass.—On May 5, various talented Armenian musicians from distinguished conservatories and universities throughout the country will take the stage at the AGBU’s 2nd Annual Performing Artists Spring Concert in Waltham.

The musicians include Solange Merdinian, mezzo-soprano; Sylvie Zakarian, marimbist; and Tanya Gabrielian, pianist. They will be accompanied on stage by visual artist Kevork Mourad, who will create a spontaneous visual interpretation of the performances on canvas and screen.

This unique event begins at 4 p.m. at the Charles River Museum of Industry & Innovation, 154 Moody St., Waltham. Tickets for general admission are $55; $100 for VIP seating/post-concert reception with the artists.
