As to Harout’s observation on the “Regrettably, no clergyman or official in Armenia has said a single word on this important issue”, I believe we’re better off if the clergymen do not offer their opinion on this. We have seen the joint letter to their flock from the 3 Diocesan bishops during the Armenian-Turkish Protocols where they tried to convince us that there are no preconditions or concessions in those Protocols. The bishops were not interested in the Armenian Churches in occupied Armenia at that time and they’re not now either.
They should concentrate on preaching the Gospel and not answer any phone call from Ankara.
