Obituary: Michael Serian (1947-2009)
Michael Serian was born on July 19, 1947 in New York City to Ara and Rose Serian. He died of a heart attack on July 4 at the age of 61 in Panama City, Fla.
Mike was raised in Queens, N.Y. and was an active member of the Armenian community. He loved being both an Armenian and an American. As a child, Mike attended St. Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church in Bayside, Queens. He was an active member of the Armenian Youth Federation (AYF), and attended Camp Haiastan and AYF Senior Olympics. Sorry to hear mike has passed I was a friend of his 5 thru 9 grade we played together and went to school I remember he had a brother Steve and little brother greg he was my good friend
When we were young I did go to his American church we him a few times sorry we lost touch over the years I cannot believe he is gone
