RIDGEFIELD, N.J. (A.W.)—On Friday, June 26, the opening ceremony of the 33rd Regional Convention of Hamazkayin Eastern U.S. will be held at the Sts. Vartanants Church in Ridgefield (461 Bergen Blvd., Ridgefield, NJ 07657).
The event, will feature comments by Armenia’s Ambassador to the UN Armen Martirossian, Prelate Oshagan Choloyan, AMAA executive director Andy Torigian, Armenian Catholic Exarch Manuel Batakian, ARF Eastern U.S. Central Committee chair Antranig Kasbarian, and Hamazkayin Central Executive representative Edward Misserlian. Armenian Weekly editor Khatchig Mouradian will be the master of ceremonies.
The event, organized by the Hamazkayin Eastern Regional Committee, will be a celebration of Hamazkayin’s 81 years of cultural and educational service. Representatives of all cultural and educational organizations in the region are invited to attend.
