MAY 1, 2009 * ‘MUSIC OF OUR GREAT SOUL BROTHERS.’ A cabaret night featuring music from Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, Ottis Redding, and more. Presented by the Andreassian Music Fund. Featuring New York performers Gordon Michaels (nominated for best male R&B vocalist) and Tony Perry (featured in three critically acclaimed CD’s), with director Michael Thomas Murray on piano (former manager of the Shirelles). Begins at 8 p.m. at the Emmanuel Hall, 15 Newbury St. in Boston. Tickets are $25 per person and include seating at candlelit tables (8-10 per table), unlimited red and white wine during the show, and an elaborate dessert and coffee post-performance reception.
