The women behind Sewing Hope for Armenia

In January 2021, 10 professional sewing machines were donated and installed in a downtown Yerevan office. Fifteen women, determined to preserve their ancestral traditions, were hired and trained to sew and create home textiles and fashion accessories that proudly showcase their cultural heritage. These women have become cultural ambassadors for Armenia, contributing to the rebuilding of their nation after the war.

By harnessing their skills and talents, these women are not only preserving their cultural legacy but also rebuilding their lives and communities. Each product is a testament to their resilience and strength, symbolizing the unbreakable spirit of the Armenian people.
