  1. Davit’s story is a testimony of the heroism and unwavering loyalty that our soldiers have in protecting and defending our Homeland. His positive spirit is an inspiration to all…
Thank you Ani for this uplifting article. May God hear our
Prayers for peace in the Homeland, and for a speedy recovery for Davit.

  2. Reading about Davit while I’m holidaying in the Caribbean reminded me of the fortunes of some and those of others. Davit is a shining example of how humans can adapt to difficult including dangerous situations and deal with them. Apart from some luck (to have survived) and also help from medical experts Davit has the enviable mix of bravery, love of family and country, humility, positivity, will to help others, self-denial and Hope.
All of this and more despite the loss of both legs.
Davit could teach a lot of financially well to do but misguided self indulgent individuals a few fundamental lessons in life.
Armenia and the rest of the world need more people with Davit’s qualities. I’m sure I speak for many when I say I envy, admire and salute Davit for being what he is, and wish him long life of happiness with his future wife.

  3. Kudos to ArmenianWeekly for not letting Diaspora forget these heroic young men.

Without patriots like them – no Artsakh, and then no Armenia.
And without Mother Armenia as the anchor, we in Diaspora will gradually drift away and disappear in the fast oceans of foreign lands.

  4. Davit’s courage and dedication to the homeland should be read by every Armenian. God Bless this young man for thanking those help him in his recovery. This story needs to be repeated to every person and include him their prayers and all our people defending the ancestral homeland.
