Obituary: Osanna Y. (Torossian) Donoyan (1933-2014)

Osanna Donoyan, 81, of Dellwood Rd. in Cranston, R.I., passed away on Sun., Oct. 5, at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late George Donoyan. Born in Syria, she was the daughter of the late Hagop and Anahid (Karamanougian) Torossian. Osanna was the devoted mother of Nerses G. Donoyan and his wife Roxanne of Lincoln, Hovsep G. Donoyan and his wife Zepur, and Hagop G. Donoyan and his wife Salpi, all of Cranston; loving grandmother of Natalie, Stephanie, George, Taleen, Anahid, Nerses, and Arpi; and dear sister of Harout Torossian of Providence, Elise Donoyan of Cumberland, Rosine Arslanian of Watertown, Mass., Maral Darakjian of Barrington, and Melkon and Nerses Torossian, both of Beirut, Lebanon. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Thurs., Oct. 8, at 11 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence, followed by burial at North Burial Ground Cemetery, Providence. Visiting hours are Wed., Oct. 8, from 5-8 p.m. in the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
