  1. Sounds like the first area of waste management is in the Armenian government and politicians.

  2. Great article and thorough reporting here. Has the team considered asking the government and related entities to create a separate project scope for landfill gas capture and invite third parties to bid on the project? While the project may not stand on its own financial merits, there is a strong carbon reduction component as pointed out here.

    My sense is that since the government has found a financial sponsor for the landfill capex project, that there are likely sustainability oriented groups who would be willing to invest and or provide attractive terms for the gas capture.

  3. Kirk, the gas will be captured and it is part of the project already. additional steps would be needed to have recycling, before the rest of that waste that can’t be recycled is sent to rot from which the gas will be actually collected…
