  1. You can pass all sorts of laws. That does not mean they will be enforced.

How about enforcing present law that outlaws theft by many of Armenia’s leaders who put that stolen money into bank accounts (and mansions) in foreign countries that include the US?

I would like to see the aforementioned US bank accounts seized by the US government and put in escrow for the people of Armenia.

I would like to see those mansions seized too, and their inhabitants deported to Armenia….

    • You are asking Uncle Sam to crackdown on Armenian officials? In other words, you are asking the world’s most dangerous criminals (who do what you are accusing Armenian officials of doing but to a much greater degree) to crackdown on our petty thieves? No thank you, Dave. You are one funny cyber activist.

  2. Raffy jan,

You may characterize yourself as a “political thinker” but what you wrote here is simply fluff. Foremost, I would like to remind you that the only thing watching over the Turkish-Armenian border today (and for the foreseeable future) are Russian troops. Without them there I have no doubt you as a proud and courageous Diasporan Armenian would be attending demonstrations in front of the Turkish embassy in Washington DC “demanding” that they free Armenia. Now, back the main topic of discussion:

I have shocking news for you: Relatively speaking, the situation of women in Armenia is better than what has happened to women in the Western world. Nearly a quarter of females living in the US get beaten and sexually assaulted (and sometimes murdered) by their workplace superiors, spouses or boyfriends. Nearly a quarter of females living in the U.S. become sexually active in their early teens. Nearly three quarters of females living in the US regularly use or are addicted to some form of drug. Half of all married women in the US end up divorced. Millions of young girls in the U.S. either run away from their home or are thrown out of their homes by their parents, and they end up working for the country’s booming sex industry. Generally speaking, females in the U.S. are encouraged by the system to be sexually active, drug dependent, interracial and experiment with homosexuality.

Is this the “liberation” of women Westernized individuals like you love to preach? Or is this actually the destruction of womenkind and thus the traditional family?

Western countries are not a standard for anything that is good anymore. The U.S. or E.U. have no right to impose their corrosive “values” on fledgling nations like Armenia. Yet, because of greedy Armenian politicians (this greed is the fundamental reason behind Armenia’s complimentary politics) and a thoroughly zombified/Westernized Armenian Diaspora, toxic Western agendas (like those peddled by the IMF, USAID, Monsanto and George Soros funded organizations) continue seeping into Armenia.

That said, Armenia is a young nation located in a very troubled and backward region of the world. Moreover, Armenia is a very young/fledgling nation going through severe growing pains. It is therefore natural that Armenia has societal problems; and the mistreatment of women is merely one of them. What’s important to understand here however is that all of Armenia’s problems need to be solved internally by Armenians themselves. Armenians do not need “laws” written by corrupt/criminal officials in Western countries. What Armenians need is geopolitical stability in the south Caucasus (i.e. Pax Russica) and economic progress. What Armenia does not need is more Globalist – Cultural Marxist – poisons being imported into the young and impressionable country. Ultimately, what Armenia needs is an “Armenian” solution to all of its internal problems.

  3. Norserrunt, apres eghbayr. I could not have said it better. The domestic violence law that just passed in Armenia is a European Union condition placed on Armenia for taking money from them. The law was watered down to better fit into Armenian mentality. But danger remains. Other countries experiences show that these kinds of laws is the first step to promoting radical ideas concerning family life and gender. Europeans and Americans and westernized Armenians can keep their filthy ideas out of Armenia. We saw how they ruined their societies during the past century. They destroyed families and the value of women with feminism and gay rights and now their countries are turning into a third world nations. It’s so bad now that western children don’t know if there are boys or girls and the fastest growing demographic is Muslims. We need to stop them from doing the same in Armenia. Armenian problems need Armenian solutions. Period.
