  1. I have visited General Tero’s grave and monument in Abaran several times, however during my last two visits the gates to the cemetery were closed and there was no guard to let visitors get inside to give their respect to our Great Hero…Maybe the ARF and The Ganayan Family can make arrangements to have this monument accessible to visitors (by car, almost very close to the site..) there are a lot of older Armenians who can not walk from the gate to the grave site and who know about General Tero and love to extend their respect to him…

  2. A wonderful address given by a patriot about one of our greatest patriot. Tatul has been a standard bearer of intellectual journalism, literature and translations. He has shared his gifts with his people for their betterment. A noble journey indeed!

  3. Very well written article Mr. Sonentz. May general Tro’s spirit and the people who did the unthinkable stay with us for a long a time. Tro as a giant of a man, as an Armenian man, will stay in our memories for ever. God Bless Armenia and the Armenian people.

  4. Thanks Tatoul for your excellent article on Gen. Dro. We have visited his burial site in Armenia twice & we thank the Armenian Tree Project for upcoming tree planting by his burial. Back in the early 1950’s we used to see Gen. Dro at the Agoomp in Watertown before his death. Without his valiant stand against the Turks along with others we may not of had an Independent Armenia. God Bless him & all our other brave Fedayees.

  5. excellent article, what a man he was, and how difficult the times were back then with famine and a massive soviet union on our doorsteps. Lest not forget a few year old genocide. Despite all this adversity he hunted the enemies down and delivered a proper response. In contrast, the vermin we have in armenia today do not come 1% close to any of the previous revolutionaries. I sometimes see them brain washed russian robots. No armenian soul in them, they look at you with an empty expression and wonder what you are talking about. We have a lot of work to do to rejuvenate and reinvent this nation,,,,a very long job!!!

  6. I have read this many times and chills always go through my body as Unger Tatul truly has captured the spirit of Dro.
