  1. The OSCE Minsk group is void. They do not have any interest at heart. They are an offshoot of the other useless organisation called the UN. They all just love talking and with no real sense in trying to achieve what should have been achieved many years ago and that is PEACE in the region. They have their own agendas. Damn shame.

  2. Dear Dr Mensoian, I am in awe of the clarity of your thoughts and sharpness of your strategic vision. I remain a fan and always look forward to reading your learned opinions to enhance my own. You are a valuable asset to our nation. Thank you.

  3. Artsakh and Armenia need organized, mass and separate repatriation of diaspora Armenians. Artsakh has 150,000 population now but can support more than 500,000. Imagine what kind of dinamics could be developing around the negotiation table if there were 30,000 Americans living there along with 15,000 French citizens, 10,000 Lebanese citizens, 5,000 Argentinian citizens, etc.

Each large Armenian diaspora can afford to build and populate at least one settlement in Artsakh and one in Armenia. Such settlements should be built by the same standards and have the same amenities as in the rspective countries of origin. Repatriants moving there should feel like home. They should be afforded autonomy and self-governance based on the laws of their country of origin.

Settlements can be registered as Free Economic Zones with special tax incentives, currency regulations and customs. Basically, repatriants will be moving to a familiar environment with all the services like health care, education, safety provided at the same level they are used to.

This can completely change the status quo in the region. This is what Azeri dictator is afraid of the most.

  4. Great points. Strengthening the Army is a must as no one is going to come to Armenia’s aid in case of war. More involvement from the diaspora is the only real way. And Armenian diaspora youth able to serve in the Armenian/Artsakh army would draw real diaspora involvement and, some would stay after duty and repopulate.. Further it would create a larger pool of abled, fighting ready army to serve, who would understand the system already, in case huge Azeri hostilities resumed. Also, we need to mention the insidious corruption that plagues Armenia needs to end. It is the root cause of emigration as real economic opportunity and equality of law is non existent.. We cannot be afraid to extinguish this political system for a better one that serves all Armenians. This all requires unity: One Armenia, Artsakh and diaspora. Its the only way.

  5. Thank you for arsakh comment our churches & Armenian centers mostly ignore the pan Armenian concern of armenia & arsakh must be everyday concern & discussions about our cause .please note
