  2. Terrific work. It shows such a commitment by the Armenian community throughout the United States, and is so appreciated! Please let us know what are the three states that have yet to adopt the resolution.

  3. This is wonderful news.
I hope to see this issue resolved in my lifetime. And by resolved I mean I hope that some government of Turkey at some point acknowledges and apologizes for trying to wipe out my people.

  4. Thank you to Iowa. We must be our grandparents voices, and get this recognized by all 50 states, and finally by our federal government and the president.
Can The Armenian Weekly research and let us know…. What 3 states have not yet recognized the Armenian Genocide?? I have tried to research this, & and have not yet found the answer. Thank you!

    • Alabama, Indiana, and Mississippi. Source: anca.org/armenian-genocide/recognition/united-states/

  5. Thank You Iowa !!

So Refreshing – No moral ambiguity – unequivocal recognition of genocide against Armenians

  6. Now, if we could do this in N.Y.!!!
We have it in the Educational committee and pushing it on the floor of the Senate and Assembly.
Thank you Iowa for being on the side of Truth and Light.

  7. Go after the US State Department. The Zionist implants are our real enemy and have been since the AG. UNITY with one Armenia, Artsakh and Diaspora is the ONLY answer. Anything else and your a traitor.

  8. The three states that have not yet recognized the Armenian Genocide are:
    Alabama, Indiana, Mississippi.

  9. When it reaches 50, Trump’s omission of the important word, “Genocide,” won’t matter. The (united) 50 states will all loudly agree with the world (and mountains of irrefutable facts) – the Ottoman Empire, modern day Turkey, horrifically committed genocide against their Armenian citizens a hundred years ago.
