So sorry to hear of Marks passing, I graduated high school with him in Leonia. Our prayers are with is family, his wife and kids.
Even though I didn’t know Mark, I knew he was a legendary basketball coach with a beautiful family. My deep condolences to his loved ones.
Frank Patti Funeral Home photoshopped out Mark Alashaian’s relative’s hand from his shoulder on their website. Your editors should do the same as a respect to his memory.

Will always remember Mark as that fun loving guy at AYF Olympics, at the Cape, at dances or anywhere there was “kef” to be found. Beyond this, his commitment to Armenian causes was exemplary and will mark his legacy. I am so sorry for your loss.

We were sorry to hear of the loss of Mark whom was a dedicated worker for the A.Y.F., & Camp Hayasdan,etc. He will be sorely missed. Also missed is his father Avo. God Bless him for & Mark for the years of dedication he gave to the Organization.
I only heard of Mark’s passing recently. I went through grammar school and graduated high school with Mark. Just a great guy with a great appetite for sports and a good friend. My heart goes out to Richie and family. All the best – Vic Kieffer
