  1. Just or injust Armenia means nothing more than keeping Armenians busy without having a hope for future existence. Armenian have only one option to survive as a nation for foreseeable future. That is to declare and act upon a super country on the road.

  2. True change will take time, but yet there is hope as this is a first step towards the better Armenia. As an American, I look at the filth going on in the most democratic country in the world, and question if true democracy is possible in a country that is merely 25 years old!

  3. Dear Mr. Kayserian, your article is well written, mostly covering the injustice and thuggery that dominated the recent elections in Armenia. Everything you have said is true. Unfortunately, Sargsyan and his party are the epicenter of corruption, manipulation and injustice in Armenia and continue to be. These unlawful practices are not new. Sargssyan’s government and his party have had free reign without prominent parties doing or saying anything about it. In the contrary, the ARF was working with Serj Sargsyan in some form of partnership for the last many years. During this coalition of RPS/AYF, the Dashing party remained quiet. Many atrocities were committed by the government including the beating, slapping and arresting of our peaceful citizens. I would like to know, why ARS remained quite during those sad days? All of a sudden, now, you are complaining about justice. Could it be that the AYF did not get what they wanted out of this election? Or, could it be that the Prime Minister has not and will not designate any cabinet position to any of the elected ARF members?

Let History teach us some lessons. A valuable quote from German Lutheran pastor Martin Niemöller(1892–1984)

“First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.”

  4. I would like to know why you have removed my comments on Haig Kayserian article. Such practices violate the spirit of fair and transparent journalism. I hope you consider posting my comments as I and many other Armenians feel it is a valid concern.

  5. Unfortunately ARF was not in the picture, during communism, but eventually after departure of corrupt Oligarchs, ARF will become a majority party!
