  1. David Ritter is doing a great job, he faced his obstacles when he landed in Dubai his high end video camera equipment was stolen. So he shot “Havresc Stand on Courage” on older equipment. Nevertheless, the message of strength, courage and facing evil is a story that is universal. Everyone loves a David vs. Goliath story and we are always for the underdog. Havresc was originally called “hay vreez” (Armenian Revenge) there are many descendants of this village that live abroad that are becoming aware of this film. Non Armenians look at this film with admiration and respect the perseverance of the Armenian spirit.
We can all learn from this small group of about 150 families that pushes back evil. Standing tall and strong, gives inspiration to others in the face of adversity.
Please visit Havresc’s website at http://www.havresc.com and look for screenings in your area. If you don’t have one consider your group, church or school sponsoring a screening. Armenians certainly played a big part in the history of building Iraq, from IPC (first oil baron was Armenian)in the 1890s long before the start of the Armenian Genocide.

  2. Brilliant. Inspirational? how true. We all wish for peace, there has been enough fighting going on around the world. This should STOP – it’s time for people to firstly read this article and then look into the remarkable work that is being done by those within the boundaries of Havresc. Well done David Ritter.
