Rev. Dr. Avedis Boynerian, Minister of the Armenian Memorial Church in Watertown, has just published his first book. The title, I Am Obliged to Preach the Gospel, is taken from the Bible, Romans 1:14-15.
The 246-page book which is in Armenian features a collection of 59 sermons (including three delivered at ordination services) as well as special addresses presented at conventions of churches overseas in Syria and Lebanon. His chronology follows the calendar of the church year from January to December.
His work was accepted and sponsored by the Armenian Christian Heritage Committee of the Armenian Evangelical Union of North America which funded its printing in Armenia. The proceeds from its sale will go to the AEUNA.
Rev. Boynerian hopes he will follow with future books in English.
