we all need take a true lesson of how we are to live the life God has given to each of us from my friend haigie. he truly was a blessing to all who knew him as well as his parents

He was wonderful….I remember him from childhood and when we met all these many years later, he remembered me and my father and mother and uncle and aunt… We had a wonderful trip down memory lane. God bless you, dear one.
He attended Church almost every Sunday sitting right up front and waiting for a Der Hayr to bring the communion to him. Whenever he would see me with my wife either at Church or the nursing home he would ask me if he could kiss my wife. He was a special inspiration to all of us.
Haigie was a good friend of my Dad, Harry Sarkisian, and they spoke after church service all of the time! He loved to share memories…and he remembered everything!
When my daughters visited the Armenian Nursing Home, Haigie remembered they were Harry’s grandchildren!
One thing I will always remember…
His smile!!!
If you were NOT smiling when he started talking with you, before long you had to smile!
We all need to take a lesson from Haigie…

I always knew that Haigie was somehow related to me but I only recently discovered that he was my second cousin. He was a very sweet boy and always present at family and community gatherings where he had a wonderful time. His parents, Lucy and Hovsep, were themselves very sweet people. I have not seen Haigie for years as I moved to South Africa 37 years ago. The last time I saw him was at the blessing of my marriage (which had taken place the year before in South Africa) at St James 34 years ago. We have a wonderful photo of him in our wedding album. God bless you, Haigie.
He was one of my favorite people in the world. My dad’s cousin—now they are together again….
