Serving on the Armenian Genocide Education Committee I am proud of the leadership in the committee that was displayed in getting the bill passed. I am grateful for the the leaders in our State Government who stood up to the forces that tried to defeat the passage of HB4493. In addition, serving as Vice Chair of The Oakland County Republican Party in Michigan it gives me great pleasure to have worked with those who passed this legislation. Finally the lost words of the victims of Genocide will be heard and their lives will be recognized through teaching of this history.
