This is where it all lies… the main hope for change. I work in the field of investment in social entrepreneurship and have been running an impact investing portfolio in India for over 7 years, with the explicit goal of seeing the alleviation of poverty at the “base of the pyramid”. I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to read about the activities of Granatus (Go Manuk and Yervand!), and have just recently uncovered another few who are following in their footsteps (albeit with mainly impact-driven goals coupled with financial return targets). Thank you Houry for enlightening us on this most vitally important subject.
