  1. This is a message to Turkey and Azerbaijan. Armenia with it’s current land luck status maybe never have its GDP reach the hight of either, but we are in demand and with hard work and using our talents we it will only get better.

We survived, we continue to survive and we can be prosperous nation.

With US’s democratic government it is possible one day soon for Armenian genocide to be recognized. But, for now this is a good step forward in increasing our international visibility. There is nothing wrong with that.

  2. Just curious: Are the Armenian authorities also requiring a modest tax (BRIBE), you know, for them and their family, for these Armenian investments to go through?

    • John, if you are American then you should know that the under the Bribes in post soviet countries don’t go to stablished institutions like US’s. Maybe few authorities do get personal bribes to take home hera and there, but the magnitude doesn’t include billion of dollars cuts in school fundings or many others.
But, thank you for your input. I guess knowing this fact can help the developing nations to develop into better economic and social models that the already developed ones are, right from the root.

  3. All the above ,let´s say statistcs are of importance and in place indeed. However my suggestion has been and will be initiation f an important U.S. Company to invest in Armenia in the auto Industry.
A few years ago ,if my memory does not betray me,talk ,rumors were that one of the two Giant U.s. automakers, Ford or GMotors would start a factory in <<<<<Armenia. All that talk stopped. Time to re start it.I also remember that an ex-soviet factory in or around Yerevan was manufacturing a pick up truck like vehicle named ¨Yeraz¨.
It would be a good idea to re-structure same ,adding some novlety equipment and produce a SMALL MODEL car like GM, for wxample produces in Spain ,under Opel name.
Moreover a New Hybrid type small car(that is not in the area) would do wonders.Half electric and very popular for the newly middle calss being by and by coming up in Armenia.
