  2. Amazing history let”s not forget the tragedy of the Greek Armenians and the Assyrians under the always barbarian Turks of the time

  3. I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING HE SAYS BECAUSE IT IS THE TRUTH. TURKEY WILL BE DIVIDED AND THERE WILL BE A WAR. AND CONSTANTINOPLE WILL BE GREEK AGAIN.THIS IS FORESEEN BY HOLLY FATHERS. IT IS NOT THE TURKISH PEOPLE THAT ARE BAD THEY HAVE BEEN MANIPULATED AND HAVE BEEN TAUGHT TO HATE.

  4. probably half of today’s Turks are of Armenian and Greek stock!

  5. Yes, many Turks are of Greek, Armenian and some of Assyrian origin (forcefull assimilation). Many more Turks are also Slavonic (Serb, Bulgarian, Macedonian, Bosniak) origin. The rest are Anatolians who had been Hellenised in the Byzantine times. If they were actual genuine Turks, they would look like their Mongolian and Khazak kin, i.e. East Asian.

    • Just a note to correct you when you include ‘Macedonians’ as “Slavonic”. They are NOT.

Im going to state a few things for you to understand…Firstly, the most famous Macedonians, without argument, are Phillipos, his wife Olympia and their child Alexandros (Alexander the Great). They were not Phillipov, Olympiapova and Alexandropov.

However, if you are referring to the Vardaskans or Bulgars that invaded that area in the middle ages then yes, they are of Slavic origin but they are not Macedonians.

Sorry but if you felt compelled to post on a story about false identities then the least you could do is get your facts right.

  6. GREEK, ARMENIAN AND KURDISH PEOPLE HAVE TO UNITE THEY HAVE BEEN ALL SLAUGHTERED BY THE TURKS.

    • the turks ARE the greeks , armenian , kurdish, slavs , east aegean etc. It is the hypocratic heads of states that manipulate the people. wake up!

  7. We all love you.We are praying for you and your family during this difficult time.I have similar life story.

  8. I think every Turk needs to do a DNA test in 2017. They will discover that most of them are Greeks, Armenians, Assyrians and Georgians and they have been told a lie.

    • You don’t know what is blood and tribe and what is nation. These words don’t mean the same.

  9. Vasilis was publishing about the Turkish Genocide 1914-1923, and the recognition that should have from the Turkish state. That is why he was jailed. Not about taking back Constantinople.
    Best regards

  10. Nationalist stories are all the same all over Europe. Turks are not even near in barbarity to barbaric tribes and rulers of Europe at that age, and even long after. Look at Bosnia of near past, what happened there with genocide and massacres and just keep silent. I am not even mentioning the Todor Jivkov of Bulgaria and what he did against Turkish minority..

    • We are not talking about 500 years ago! In the lifetime of my grandparents only Turkey and Nazi Germany have butchered entire races living within their borders. What did Adolf Hitler say when even Nazis thought he was going too far? “Who now remembers the Armenians”. What the Serbs did pales into insignificance. Not a few thousand, but millions of Armenians, Assyrians, Greeks and now Kurds! Germans have grovelled and jailed the murderers and publically apologise to this day to their victims. The Turks deny the slaughter and continue it to this day, even crossing to Syria to kill those defeated ISIS which was armed by…. Turkey!

  11. If you see the map published by “Brilliant Maps” showing the countries by DNA test, then you will see that the whole current day Turkey is of Greek Anatolan descent (J2 = Greco-Roman, Anatolian (Thracian, Frygian, Cilician, Lydian)):

    http://brilliantmaps.com/europe-dna-borders/

“Krata gera” Yanni there are millions in Turkey that are taking courage from your strength and praying for you. Turkey will not last for long for the fact that they do not provide and they have never provided any single light of civilization to the world.

    • Niko, just a small correction. The J2 Y-haplogroup is not a Greco-Roman haplogroup per say. It is in fact a Caucasian/Mesopotamian haplogroup which the pre-Greek Pelasgians (Alashiyans) brought to the Aegean around the 23 century BC. The Greeks did not arrive in the Aegean until much later. Eventually, they were assimilated by the Greeks and then the Romans.

  12. Every country has such person, such YAYLALI:
    traitor
    deserter
    villain
    renegade
    rat
    betrayer
    treacherous
    perfidious
    nefarious
    traitorous
    wicked
    disloyal

    • The truth hurts, eh?
Please note that he was rejected by the Turks for his DNA. Who was he a traitor to?

  13. My Greek grandparents left Ordu (Turkey) in 1924. They boarded a ship to New York City (and after several weeks) they landed at Ellis Island. My mother was born the following year in Grand Rapids, MI. My grandparents never returned to their homeland and I always wondered why. Their memories were traumatic and although they missed their families terribly, they never went back. My grandfather died when I was two years old and my grandmother died when I was eighteen. How I wish I had had the maturity, insight, and curiosity that I have at 64! There are so many things I would have asked them about their lives as Pontian Christians! My grandmother told me a story about the Turks taking them to Russia on a boat when she was a teenager. She said the Turks were very cruel and they ripped her diamond earrings out of her ears. They took refuge in Russia for two years and soon after, they came to the U. S.
I just finished the book “The Burning Tigris.” I learned a lot about the Armenian genocide. It also addressed some of the Greek genocide as well. I felt very sad and disappointed that the world knew about the atrocities in Turkey but no countries, including the U. S. wanted military involvement which could have made a huge difference and saved thousands of lives! I’m proud of my Greek heritage and the resilience of my ancestors and all of these persecuted people groups. God protected my family from the genocide and for that I am forever grateful. Someday, I may try to visit the Ordu area in honor of my grandparents (James and Ruth) who never returned to their homeland.

    Cindy H. (Grand Rapids, MI).

    • Cindy, I very much like your comment.
I visited the homeland of your grandparents several times as my wife’s origins are from there as well. If you’d like I want to share the experience of my visits there; a lot to tell you about. You may contact me at MSepa21@Yahoo.com – and we’ll take it from there.
      Mike

    • Cindy, it is a sad fact that the US was also culpable as they sent Admiral Mark Lambert ‎Bristol who assisted and encouraged the Turks with their ethnic cleansing in 1922-23.

There’s nothing like political interests to make people behave like savages but it probably helps if your outlook is… “I hate the Greeks, I hate the Armenians, I hate the Jews. The Turks are fine fellows.”

  14. Extraordinary man, story and courage.
One cannot help but feel that there is some sort of justice operating ……I hope so.
