  1. Corruption. Lies. Money. Murder. The allegations surrounding the Muscat power-couple have caused the Prime Minister to step down. The “pressure” caused by the car-bombing murder of popular Maltese journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia proved to be too much for Muscat, and he resigned. If this happened to you – and you were innocent – would you resign? Of course not.

But when guilty, politicians quit under such pressure. And inevitably they begin to babble about doing so “in the best interest of their country”. We’ve heard this over and over again – so much so that it is as good as an admission of guilt.

I am an outside, just gathering the facts today. I’m no expert on those facts, but I am a student of history and there are dozens of examples – not many on such a large scale – but often ‘stepping down’ is not the end of the “pressure” – merely the beginning of a new chapter in the investigations and determination of others to get to the truth.
My sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of Daphne Caruana Galizia. It is through her exemplary hard work and dedication that these sorts of corrupt ‘leaders’ are removed, and ultimately she will prove to be the REAL patriot of Malta, rather than it’s disgraced former PM Muskrat.
