ARS Transfers $50,000 to Artsakh

ARS logoWATERTOWN, Mass.—In response to Azerbaijan’s aggression against the Nagorno-Karabagh Republic (NKR/Artsakh), the Armenian Relief Society (ARS) Central Executive Board (CEB) transferred $50,000 to the government of Artsakh in an effort to provide aid to the residents of threatened regions.

The funds were raised through the generous contributions of members and supporters of the ARS. The amount was transferred through the ARS in Artsakh.

The CEB made the decision during its plenary meeting on April 14, in response to the violation of the ceasefire by Azerbaijani forces.

The government of Artsakh issued an appeal for assistance to all Armenians days following the initial attacks on April 1-2.
