Thank you for the very informative review. One correction: the phrase at the end of the sixth paragraph should be ‘opus magnum’: ‘opus’ is a 3rd declension neuter noun, and hence must take the neuter form of the adjective.

Who is the woman on the cover of the book? Is she Armenian?
The author says the picture is of an Armenian woman taken by a photography agency in Erevan in 1913. The next edition of the book will have an explanatory note about the “cover woman.”
Were I can finde this book in English lenguge? ( Die Armenierin) thanks …or in Itaalian!!
Unfortunately,the book has not yet been translated into any foreign language.
