  1. Its about time Europe read them the riot act on Hrants murder
    Is this the going rate for allowing citizens to muzzle truth?
    When is ogun samast (the Turkish zealot who pulled the trigger) going to be sentenced to jail and
    treated like a criminal instead of a national hero?

If my brother had been murdered, if my father had been killed, if my husband had died as a result of political hatred and bigotry as conveyed by ‘turkish’ policies – why would each member of a family who loved and cherished the man for his courage, love and truth not recieve the same as the wife? 5000 is equivalent to the loss of a blood relative? What about Hrant Dink’s attorney, who was ‘conveniently’ murdered on the SAME DAY  the Mavi Marmara turkish terrorist funded assault and it’s intended media propaganda  took place……..which knowingly would dominate the world media, so as to hide and distract from the murder of Hrant Dink’s attorney ………….if these bastards can pay jennifer lopez 3 million dollars to do a concert in the illegally occupied territory of northern Cyprus to further misrepresent their criminal activities and presence in Cyprus – then they SHOULD be ordered to PAY 3 million dollars to the family of Hrant Dink . Amen.

    What deference it makes, even if they publicly hang him it will turn to national day of celebration.
    No matter what there is no place for them in EU.   

  4. Thanks to the judges for the ruling, but 100,000 Euros? That’s about $135,000 . Is that what Hrant’s life was worth? Is that what Armenian Intellectuals are going for these days?1 Miilion Euros would have sent a clear statement to the Govt of Turkey and the world even though I think the award should have been more like 10 million Euros!

  5.  Forget the money! What amount equates to the life of a man like Hrant Dink. The court should awarded a judgment that requires Turkey to address the issues that Hrant stood for; genocide recognition, civility in Turkish society and civil justice for its citizens.
          The courts ruling is encouraging but it sad to think of his impact in these relative terms.

    In my above Reply to your comment a paragraph from the middle was censored where I was referring to the Turkish ancestors.
    Is it an insult that I mentioned there is a Mongolian trace in their blood?
    I don’t think so, that’s been scientifically proved that wherever Mongols passed through they left a blood trace because they were killing the male and raping the female population on their way.
